Jewel Andrew, an 18-year-old batting sensation, is determined to carve his path to cricketing greatness. The youngest player to debut in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and represent the West Indies in ODIs, Andrew has already impressed legends like Viv Richards, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, and Curtly Ambrose with his skills and composure.
In 2024, Andrew made headlines with his CPL debut for the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, scoring an unbeaten 50 against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. His audacious reverse sweep against Tabraiz Shamsi turned heads and symbolized his fearless approach to the game. Andrew’s temperament on the field reflects a maturity beyond his years, which he attributes to years of competitive cricket since the age of four.

Her unwavering encouragement and the inspiration of his brother, Hilroy, who introduced him to batting right-handed, have been pivotal in Andrew’s rise.
