Tottenham have agreed a £50m deal with Bayern Munich for 19-year-old French forward Mathys Tel. The young talent is set to join the Premier League side after a successful negotiation. However, Manchester United are reportedly eyeing Tel, with plans to sell 20-year-old Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho and potentially bring Tel on loan. The forward prefers a move to Old Trafford over options from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham and is awaiting confirmation of United’s interest before making a final decision.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr is preparing a second and final £90m bid for 27-year-old Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma. The Japanese international is reportedly the club’s top target.
Arsenal have blocked 27-year-old Scotland left-back Kieran Tierney from moving to Celtic this summer despite strong interest from his former club. Paris Saint-Germain forward Marco Asensio is one of several attacking options Aston Villa is considering as they look to strengthen their squad before the close of the transfer window. Villa is also monitoring 25-year-old Brazil striker Matheus Cunha of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
In other transfer news, England striker Ollie Watkins has expressed openness to joining Arsenal, though Aston Villa are determined to keep their 29-year-old star. Villa also targets Chelsea midfielder Joao Felix, 25, as part of their mid-season recruitment.
Al-Hilal has reportedly made a “super offer” for Real Madrid and Brazil winger Rodrygo, 24, to replace the recently departed Neymar. Monaco is close to agreeing a deal with Ajax for 34-year-old England midfielder Jordan Henderson, though the Ligue 1 side is reluctant to pay a transfer fee and hopes to secure the player on a free transfer.
Everton are considering a late move for Brighton’s 20-year-old Republic of Ireland striker Evan Ferguson, while Chelsea are keeping tabs on Borussia Dortmund’s Swiss goalkeeper Gregor Kobel. However, a move for the 27-year-old is more likely in the summer.

Wolves’ 22-year-old English midfielder Luke Cundle is nearing a permanent transfer to Millwall. At the same time, Newcastle have opened talks with 18-year-old Spain Under-19 winger Antonio Cordero over a free transfer when his contract with Malaga expires this summer.
Finally, Tottenham are set to allow 19-year-old forward Will Lankshear to leave on loan before Monday’s transfer deadline. Several Championship clubs, including Burnley, Middlesbrough, West Brom, Cardiff, and Luton, are showing interest in the England Under-20 international.
