Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly competing for the signature of Newcastle United’s Swedish forward Alexander Isak. The 25-year-old striker is a shared target for the two London clubs as they look to bolster their attacking options. According to reports from Caught Offside, both clubs have identified Isak as a potential acquisition in the January transfer window. Meanwhile, Manchester United have also prioritised signing a striker during the same window, with the club keen to strengthen their forward line.

In other transfer developments, Bayern Munich is making strides in securing a contract extension for Canadian left-back Alphonso Davies. Despite Manchester United’s interest in the 24-year-old, Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg suggests Davies is likely to commit his future to the Bundesliga giants. This comes as Manchester United find themselves trailing Chelsea in the pursuit of Lecce’s 20-year-old Danish left-back Patrick Dorgu, according to Teamtalk.

Managerial movements are also making headlines. Wolves and West Ham have reportedly approached former Chelsea and Brighton manager Graham Potter for potential managerial roles. Meanwhile, Talksport claims that ex-Dortmund coach Edin Terzic is not in the running to replace Julen Lopetegui at West Ham, with former Denmark boss Kasper Hjulmand emerging as a contender for the role. Additionally, David Moyes, who previously managed West Ham, is considered a possible candidate for the Wolves job should Gary O’Neil be dismissed. Luton Town boss Rob Edwards, who has a history with Wolves as a player, is also under consideration, according to the Telegraph.

Brighton and Southampton are keeping tabs on 18-year-old Motherwell prospect Lennon Miller. The Scotland Under-21 midfielder has also attracted interest from Liverpool and Newcastle, as reported by the Daily Mail.

In Merseyside, Liverpool have discussed a potential transfer for Dutch right-back Jeremie Frimpong with Bayer Leverkusen. Meanwhile, Manchester City are preparing for life after Kevin De Bruyne, with the club open to allowing the Belgian midfielder to join one of City Football Group’s sister clubs when he departs. According to the Mirror, Inter Miami, spearheaded by David Beckham, have reportedly identified De Bruyne as their primary transfer target.

Everton players are also generating interest abroad. Roma are reportedly pursuing Guinea-Bissau striker Beto and Mali midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure. At Anfield, Liverpool remains confident about securing a new deal for France defender Ibrahima Konate as talks progress positively, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Juventus and Marseille are eyeing Chelsea’s Benoit Badiashile, with the 23-year-old France defender potentially on the move. Chelsea are also in contact with Benfica over a possible deal for 22-year-old Portuguese centre-back Tomas Araujo, with the London club willing to part ways with French defender Axel Disasi in January, as per Teamtalk.

Arsenal are reportedly ready to entertain offers for Fabio Vieira. According to the Daily Mail, the 24-year-old Portuguese midfielder, currently on loan at Porto, faces an uncertain future with the Gunners. Meanwhile, Barcelona are monitoring German defender Jonathan Tah, who is set to become a free agent next summer. Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona’s director of football, Deco, has already met with Tah’s representatives as the Catalan club looks to secure his services.
