Victor Wembanyama delivered a stellar 5×5 performance to propel the San Antonio Spurs to a 106-88 victory over the Utah Jazz. Scoring 25 points alongside nine rebounds, seven assists, five blocks, and five steals, Wembanyama achieved his second career 5×5—a rare feat where a player records at least five in five different categories. He now joins Hakeem Olajuwon and Andrei Kirilenko as the only NBA players to accomplish multiple 5x5s.

Reflecting on his all-around game, Wembanyama said, “It tells me I need to get my standards up when I don’t get 5x5s because I am able to help my team in all those areas. It should be a consistent thing.”

The Spurs broke a two-game losing streak with the win and are 12th in the Western Conference. The Jazz, winless in five games, sit at the bottom of the standings.

In Memphis, Ja Morant was the star as the Grizzlies downed the Milwaukee Bucks 122-99. Morant recorded his 12th career triple-double, scoring 26 points, with 14 assists and 10 rebounds. Despite a game-high 37 points from Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks suffered their fourth straight defeat. “We played with the right spirit,” said Bucks coach Doc Rivers. “But on nights we’re not hitting shots, we need to find ways to get stops.”

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns overcame a 21-point deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 125-119, with Devin Booker leading the way with a season-high 40 points. He was supported by 21 points from Royce O’Neale, 18 from Kevin Durant, and 16 from rookie Ryan Dunn, making his second career start. The Suns’ second win at the Clippers’ Intuit Dome keeps them third in the Western Conference.
