After years of anticipation, Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid seems to be finally happening. Following Real Madrid’s win in the UEFA Champions League, the club is ready to announce the big transfer.
According to a report from Marca, the announcement of Mbappe’s transfer is expected either on Monday or at the latest on Tuesday. The club waited until the end of their season to make the announcement. The report suggests that Real Madrid will release an official statement titled “Comunicado Oficial: Kylian Mbappe” on Monday. However, Mbappe won’t be presented immediately after the announcement.
The report mentioned that Mbappe will be introduced in a big way at a packed Santiago Bernabeu stadium in July, breaking records in the process.
The reason for the delay in this introduction is because Mbappe is currently busy training with his national team for the Euros. France has two friendly matches against Luxembourg and Canada before heading to Germany for the month-long tournament starting on June 15th.
The team that won the World Cup in 2018 is considered one of the top contenders for the upcoming competition. They’ll have an interesting test in the group stage because they’ve been placed in Group D alongside Poland, Netherlands, and Austria.
