Get ready for some exciting cricket! India is touring Australia later this year for a five-match Test series, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The first match starts on November 22nd in Perth, a brand-new stadium where Australia has a perfect winning record.
The second Test will be a day-night match (played with a pink ball under lights) in Adelaide. India will be hoping to avoid a repeat of their last pink-ball experience there, where they were bowled out for a meager score. This time, they’ll have more time to prepare.
Next up is the Gabba in Brisbane, a stadium where Australia is usually mighty. But India managed to win there last time! The previous two games will happen at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Boxing Day and at the Sydney Cricket Ground on New Year’s Day.
Before India arrives, Pakistan will be touring Australia for some limited-overs matches (one-day internationals and Twenty20s). Their series starts in November and finishes on the 18th.
