Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both considering a move for Fiorentina striker Moise Kean as the two North London clubs look to strengthen their attacking options. The 24-year-old Italy international, currently on loan at Fiorentina from Juventus, has attracted interest from multiple clubs, and Arsenal and Spurs are now closely monitoring the situation.
Meanwhile, Manchester United and Aston Villa missed the chance to sign Barcelona’s highly-rated young forward, Fermin Lopez. Both Premier League clubs were reportedly prepared to offer €70 million (£58.3m) for the 21-year-old Spain international during the January transfer window. However, Lopez was not interested in a move away from Camp Nou, preferring to remain with the Catalan giants.

Barcelona were also in the spotlight during the January window as they declined an opportunity to sign Chelsea’s Portugal international Joao Felix. The Spanish club chose not to pursue a deal for the 25-year-old forward before Felix ultimately secured a loan move to AC Milan until the end of the season.
Arsenal’s recruitment plans extend beyond Kean, with reports indicating that the Gunners have shown interest in Liverpool’s Diogo Jota. Portugal International has struggled with injuries, and Liverpool is reportedly open to selling 28-year-olds at the right price. Arsenal’s interest in Jota reflects their search for reinforcements in attack as they continue to push for silverware.
Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali’s future has also been discussed, with his agent dismissing speculation of a return to Serie A. The Italian international, who joined Newcastle from AC Milan last summer, has been linked with returning to his homeland. However, his agent has downplayed such reports, citing the financial obstacles involved in any potential deal.
Atletico Madrid is maintaining a close eye on Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, with the 27-year-old French forward emerging as a transfer target for the La Liga side. However, Lyon’s American owner, John Textor, a major shareholder at Crystal Palace, is reportedly keen on bringing Mateta to Ligue 1 instead. Lyon is expected to bid for the forward, valued at £50 million.

Burnley’s French defender Maxime Esteve and Middlesbrough’s Netherlands youth international Rav van den Berg have been identified as potential replacements for England centre-back Marc Guehi. The 24-year-old has been a key figure for Palace, attracting interest from top clubs.
Elsewhere, Everton is shifting its recruitment focus towards signing young British talent as part of a new long-term strategy. The Merseyside club is looking to build a squad with domestic prospects as they aim for stability and future growth in the Premier League.
